2012

Wow, what a year 2012 was!  It was full of adventure and learning new things.

January- March
The first few months of 2012 were spent waiting for Brantley to arrive and learning how to take care of a newborn.
On January 30 we welcomed Brantley Logan Fulgham into our family.  After waiting 10 days past his due date and after many hours of labor he finally decided to join us at 8lbs and 4 oz.  We were in love with him the moment we saw him.  We loved every inch of his dark hair and and his chubby cheeks.

February we spent most of the time at home loving on Brantley

In March Jared was able to give Brantley a beautiful blessing.  We were joined by all of our family.  It was a wonderful day.

April-June
In April I went back to work part time.  It was nice having something to get up and get ready for each morning.  It was nice to be back and see all of my students. During April I also interviewed for a job with the Up to 3 program.  I always wanted to work for Up to 3, but it never worked out.  Finally I was  to apply and interview to work for the program.  This job was perfect for our little family.  Its not as stressful as working at the school and it is only part time.  I was so excited when I got the phone call offering me the job

In May I started my job with Up to 3.  Jared's sister Nikki also left to serve a mission in Long Beach California.  She is doing a great job and is loving every minute of it.  Jared also decided to further his education and study Speech Language Pathology.  He has been taking online classes since May and will be finishing them up this coming May.  He is applying for grad school and could be starting that as soon as June

In June we made the trip to Texas.  It was so much fun to introduce Brantley to the Texas family.  He was so good on the trip and it was nice to get away for a couple of weeks.

July-September
July we spent time with family and friends enjoying the July 4th and 24th holidays
In September we were able to go to the Brigham City temple open house with the Fulgham family.  It was a great way to remember  Logan.

October-December
October was spent attending USU football games and enjoying general conference with family

In November we attended more USU football games and USU basketball started up....I think we maybe be obsessed, but we certainly enjoy it!

In December Jared and I may the trip to Boise to cheer the Aggies in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl.  It was a great game the the Aggies came out on top.  We were able to sit by friends and family and had a great time.

2012 was a great adventure and I think 2013 is going to  be even better!

11 Months!

Where did Decemeber go? Better yet where did 2012 go? It seems like just yesterday it was 2011. This past month was a great one.  We spend a lot of time with family and enjoyed many Aggie basketball games.  Mr. Brantley has learned so much this past month.  He will cruise around furniture and even transfer from one piece to another as long as they aren't too far apart.  We have caught him standing and not holding on to anything quite a few times. I just don't think he realizes he is doing it. He is babbling and jabbering even more.  He finally said "mama" this month, although it wasn't directed towards me and he doesn't quite yet have the comprehension to know I'm mama, it made me happy. He now has 9 teeth.  He's 7th one (on the bottom) broke through last week.  I noticed he has two more coming through on the top in the back. (maybe that is why he was a terrible sleeper last night).  He gets into EVERYTHING!  There isn't much that will slow him down.  He loves the stairs and does pretty well I getting up them.  We have to have a gate at the bottom and the top of the stairs.  Those few times when we don't have the gate up at the bottom and he makes it to the stairs he will start giggling and will start to climb the stairs as fast as he can.  He has started to play "tag" with us too.  When we act like we are going to get him he will squeal and crawl away as fast as he can.  He is getting quite the little personality and I love it.

This past Saturday we went to Temple Square with Fulgham family.  Poor Brantley was tuckered out.  The gloves were in attempt to keep his hands warm and he couldn't pull them off.

Christmas

What?!? A post just not about Brantley??? No worries that will be coming in a few days.  We had a wonderful Christmas  We spent Christmas Eve in Morgan eating wonderful food and spending time with my family.  Its crazy how big my family is getting.  My parents now have 14 grandchildren.  When we are all together there are 28 people altogether. So needless to say it gets a little crazy and loud, but I love it.  Our nieces and nephews did the nativity.  Its always great entertainment and a good reminder of the real reason of the season.

Brantley was taking a much needed nap during the nativity

Every year my mom gives the grandkids pajamas and a bag of cereal.  Its fun to watch them open their gifts and get so excited.

Brantley with his pajamas that are size 18 months and fit him nicely. (he is getting way too big.)

We spent Christmas day with the Fulgham family.  It was nice to just hang out and let Brantley play with his toys.

Our little cowboy

Paul and Tina gave each of the kids one of these Teddy Bears.  Each Teddy Bear is made from one of Logan's old t-shirts.  I absolutely loved this gift.

Over all I think we had a great couple of days spent with our families.  It was even better being able to spend the time with our little guy!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
